GrOwen Garden

Inspired by the sponsors of their basketball team, the 7th grade Catoctin Basketball Club wanted to give back. So they approached Round Hill United Methodist Church and built a garden and chicken coop. Since then, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have done many projects in the garden, like building raised beds to make our garden more accessible and expanding our chicken coop.

The goal of the GrOwen Garden is to supplement the RHUMC food pantry with fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs.  The families who use our food pantry receive fresh eggs each month, as well as produce from the garden during the growing season.
