FOOD PANTRY

Our food pantry is a free, client choice pantry.  Patrons seeking food assistance are invited to select for themselves what items they receive, including: non-perishable food, non-food items, protein, seasonal organic garden produce, and fresh eggs.  Unique features on our property are our chicken pens, vegetable garden and fruit trees!  We maintain a flock of laying hens for fresh eggs, a garden plated each season along with a fruit orchard to provide fresh produce to our patrons.

How We Operate

Due to the pandemic,

volunteers take orders in advance from families who need food. They prefill the orders and then deliver the bags of food to the families when they drive up in the parking lot or arrive at the trailer.

Blessings Box

Girl Scout in front of Blessings Box

The Blessings Box provides meals that are ready to go and only require a spoon, fork, or straw.  Designed and built by a girl scout, the blessings box is where community members can pick up nonperishable food items anytime of day. The food pantry volunteers, will refill the Blessings Box when items in the box start running low. “We hope people who need the food will take just what they need."
